Tiny finish

Victoria Sampler ornament, finished for finishing class in November:

I didn't think I was going to enjoy this stitch because of the metallic and all the shading in the rhododendron.  I hate confetti stitching.  But, the metallic behaved itself and the rhodo area was small enough to not grate my nerves too much.  I loved the bargello section.   If I'm lucky, I won't flunk out of my finishing class and I'll post better (less blurry) photos of the ornament next month.

Also, I'm really making headway with my ABC LHN piece.   With a little luck, it could be finished by Tuesday.  More pics soon.

  1. Very pretty! I've always wanted to try bargello, it looks so striking!
Can't wait to see ABC, love your colours on that piece.

  2. I'm glad the metallic didn't give you too much trouble. I've always had a hard time using it. It can add a lot of pizzazz to a piece if you can swing it. Yours is beautiful!

  3. Beautiful! I have always wanted to do all of those hearts, but haven't even managed the one from my home state yet. Congrats!
