The Rain and taxes

Here it is mid-April and I can hardly believe it!  Dad entered the hospital with pneumonia on March 3, was in intensive care for a week, step-down for a week, then transferred to a skilled nursing facility for 20 days of rehab, then discharged to come home on Good Friday.  My sister and I made tracks back and forth every day.  Some days we were with him all day, some days we just visited after work to make sure he knew we were keeping an eye on things.  He is extremely pleased to be back home and feeling better than he has in years.  Sis and I, on the other hand, could use a vacation!

Since Easter, I've managed to slip a few stitches in The Rain Fell...

I can't remember the exact color of the linen, but I'm loving it.  The colors of the piece really pop against the soft blue of the linen.

Today, I wish I was doing nothing but stitching more on this piece and kitting up another April piece I'd like to complete this month, but my house is in desperate need of a good spring cleaning.  And then there is the tax return that isn't going to file itself.
BOOO!!!  TAXES!!!

Here's hoping you have a wonderful mid-April weekend, friends!

  2. Your piece is so sweet. I'm glad to hear that your father is on the road to recovery. And I agree on the taxes. We had a bad year with those - not stitching goodies for me for a while! :o(

  3. Love this piece! And that is great news about your father! At least take a pseudo-vacation and stitch some or just prop your feet up with a cup of that lovely tea - you've earned it.

  7. Good to hear that your dad is well again. My dad is very susceptible to pneumonia too, but this year he didn't have a bout of it. It's quite exhausting taking care of our elders, isn't it?!

  10. If you have never taken an online course before it has a few things to do in the weeks before class. Preparing for online Tucson Tax Preparation basically can be divided into three categories: self preparation, preparation of your work area and preparing his team.

  11. This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose. Fathers Day Wallpaper For Mobile

  12. I must say, as a lot as I enjoyed reading what you had to say, I couldnt help but lose interest after a while. Its as if you had a wonderful grasp on the subject matter, but you forgot to include your readers. Perhaps you should think about this from far more than one angle. Or maybe you shouldnt generalise so considerably. Its better if you think about what others may have to say instead of just going for a gut reaction to the subject. Think about adjusting your own believed process and giving others who may read this the benefit of the doubt. Happy Friendship Day Songs In English

  13. Education's prices have sky rocketed in the recent years. It is impossible for normal students from simple backgrounds to go through their chosen qualification without student loans. Most of the lenders are happy and willing to extend help for https://blueskyloans.co. These borrowings will fall due once the student completes his or her educational qualification. There are various features and advantages to this method of financing.

  14. The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it’ll do even better in those areas, but for now it’s a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod’s strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice. hsmworks update

  16. An interesting discussion might be priced at comment. I do believe that you can write much more about this topic, it will not certainly be a taboo subject but generally consumers are there are not enough to dicuss on such topics. An additional. Cheers 먹튀인포
