I learned so much from Vima about the many ways the simple buttonhole stitch could be used in our adaptation of traditional Casalguidi (Italian) needlework. She moved us right along during the four day class. Here is my progress. I won't be able to take the piece with me to Philadelphia due to it's size, so I guess it will have to wait for me.
